I just...my heart. Korra is amazing. Korra is glorious. Korra is such a believable 16 year old girl.


I want to be articulate, but I'm kind of incapable of it at the moment. It's like meeting an old friend you've never met before. There's a heart to this series and the original Avatar: The Last Airbender, a specific way of looking at the world, that I've never really seen anywhere else, and it resonates so much with me. That the art is gorgeous, the music stunning, the actors talented, and the script hilarious is almost icing on the cake.

I've missed this world so much, and I didn't even realize it.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Mike & Bryan are flawless, but they're pretty trustworthy as a creative team, I think. :3 Really really REALLY can't wait to see how the rest of the series plays out.

I am very, very, veerrrry carefully avoiding spoilers and trailers, because I do not want to set up an expectation which may be disapointed. That said, I am totally watching this on the day shown even though I do not have a tv hook up.

IT IS GLORIOUSNESS. Though I kinda wish they had only released the first episode, because now I'll have to wait extra time to see fresh material. I NEED MORE EPISODES RIGHT NOW.
